Jonathan Remmers

Children’s Minister &Facilities Supervisor

I grew up in Hollywood, Florida, and after graduating, I joined the United States Marine Corps, where I served for two years. Following my military service, I moved to Texas and worked in commercial construction for 15 years.

In 2001, I married my wife, Chrissy, and together we were blessed with two daughters, Alexis and Abigail. While visiting family in Edgewater, we regularly attended Family Worship Center. When we moved to Edgewater in 2014, it felt natural to make FWC our home church.

In 2015, I joined the church staff, serving in maintenance. I also work alongside my wife in the FWC Kids Elementary ministry, helping teach and support the children of our church. For the past several years, I have also had the privilege of serving as a prayer worker, ministering to and encouraging others in their faith journey.

Fun facts about Jonathan:

• I enjoy boating and fishing.

• I enjoy going to the beach.

• I enjoy helping fix and build things. 

• I enjoy teaching the Bible to the children on Sundays. 

• I enjoy helping people. 

• I have my own handyman business.
